Keep trying to buy preds on ebay, was the other bidder on the french one. Is anyone willing to take my money in exchange for a p8 or newish pred. Please help!!

To be honest i was'nt sure i was going to win it, cuz as you and i know how much these normally go for on bay? i did'nt go any higher than what i had actually won it for and so you can imagine my surprise when i had actually got it.. But that's ebay for you, very unpridictable. In my case this time i suppose i got lucky. I reckon there'll be more predators on ebay once the word of the X-10 hits the street.. People may just want a new car instead of doing up the earlier models..

Just got back from an evening of racing, one of the guys at the club has five preds!! two buggy's and three tourers and no diff bevel gears!! Only found out as i was talking about getting the x10. He has got a lot of set up info for many of the uk tracks. interestingly he used to change the diff gears after each run

Ahh but i bet he'll get sucked into getting a new x-10 when he see's your one go flying round the track, then if he has a change of heart you could get him into selling them to you or me if like? ;D  ;D |

Nice idea, but he is an engineer and has been planning to re build his diffs with pro 4 gears, and no they don't strip all the time if you know how to shim the diffs properly. Sound familiar ??!
Tried to persuade him to part with a car but he is very attached to them, in fact he was surprised i new about them, i will be running mine indoors and outdoor for the remainder of the season and in his own words the car is awesome. One thing he did warn me of was that he used to get given a lot of abuse for running the car, our club is run by the local rc store and has had past dealings with richard......

The car was never the issue, the price and poor spares availability was. Worst though was ttech inability to supply spares to the shops and at times even the team drivers.
