Hi Guys
This is my first post and I will hopefully soon be a Predator owner.
Anyway I am currently looking at an Predator XK98 but don't know much about these cars. Can anyone tell me a bit about them, good points, bad points etc and also how much a typical xk98 should set me back.
Finally the setup I am looking at running with the car would be a a brushless Mtronics Genesis Pro speedo and 5800kv motor, hi-tec steering servo with 4300 cells.
What do you guys think, would this be a good setup to run in one of these cars.
Cheers
Trev

heyoooow
I've also got one for sale, well when I find some d**n bearings....
at first you need to change your transmission to a TC3 or Tamiya transmission, if you're handy with a dremel it's not so hard to do. You can find the links on the homepage.
You could stay with the original gears but you need to replace them every 15 runs. And if that car doesn't come with spares that's not an option.
or you could buy an X10/XRS transmission but that's expensive!
I don't know much about that setup so can't give you any advise on that.

Yeah I am looking at the ebay car. Does it look any good? I emailed the guy who owns it and he has told me that it is an xk98 with x10 parts fitted to it.
Any advise about this car would be a massive help.

I still need to have new bearings for it !
Then it'll be up for sale and it'll have Tamiya gear conversion.
it uses saddle packs, I'll give you 1 spare front and 1spare rear arm. you'll need 14,15,16 motor pinions. can't post any pics yet because it's unassembled now. Oh I can give a spare chassis also. price will be between 150 and 170 € all-in.
Cheers!
(Graham can ya pls look for bearings *puppyface*)

Any advise about this car would be a massive help. I would say that it is not an XK98 it seems to have the chassis of an XK5 or national/international and the motor mount is the wrong color for an XK98
