Hi, I'm new user from Italy, my name is Fabrizio, I'm a tamiya collector and love monster truck and rockcrawling.
Last week I've found and buy two new streetwise with ford body and off-road wheels, 1 was mounted and have the BUD shaft in the front, the 2 is unbilt and not have the BUD shaft but an old esc of T.Tech (I think arrive from mtroniks).
With some friends we want start a little championship for old tc cars so I've decided to convert one into a touring and use.
Yesterday the first run... wow is impressive!!! great grip, fast corner and easy to drive, I love it more than my trf 415msx :-)
In this first unofficial race I've close 5° on 26 cars without any setup and I'm not a great driver!
And now.... two questions:
1 how is the internal ratio of this car?
2 where I can buy an adjustable motor-mount the stock is very limited... is all alu or only the superior clamp?
3 what spur gear can be used (this have 3 holes but the other have 4 hole for fix to the shaft)?
4 what wheels hex work? the tamiya have the hole little more bigger than t.tech
5 I want upgrade the rear shaft with two front BUD shaft (if need the code I can post), where I can buy it?

Thanks for the reference i remember that many years ago existed spur with 3 holes by trinity o similar

Yes the TTech are good but I like the alu model

This evening measure front-rear shaft and hubs if have same lenght are interchanging

I have read some old post and I've see carbon reverse rocket arm is a good upgrade (is not a problem cut two piece of carbon)?
In yours pdf you speak about a ttech conversion (come from x10) that cost 100£ what is included in the pakage?

well, the carbon rockers (also know as GP rockers) aren't used on the TC cars unless you're going to do jumps with it

the conversion from ttech never came, if you calculate a full transmission upgrade (prop shaft, diffs, gears) will cost you 150£. I mailed that to ttech a big while ago and they said they also want to offer it for £100, so maybe if you ask they will deliver it to you for that price.

remember that the X10 uses aluminium diff outdrives and these might not fit your CVD's! (if you post a pic we could help to see if the do or not)



so id suggest the tamiya conversion or a more simple ttech conversion. I'm still thinking about that (only change crown gear and pinion) and still need to buy parts for it. Only problem is I don't have the money at the moment to buy them. So my research and development is on a break ;D
