diff lube doens't have a weight, just use silicon diff lube that's NOT the same as shock lube !

Toby, it is a ball diff, so correct me if I am wrong, but the adjustment isn't done with diff fluid like a 1/8 byggy or truck, but by tightening the diff itself.. the screw down the kiddle of the diff shafts.. again, havn't started my build yet.. so I am just guessing.. the part in the manual where it talks about tightening till it just slips.. that is hos you adjust it.. just use a greese. not a "fluid"

What type of tracks will you be racing at. This will give us more info on what tyres to use.

Hi Toby.
You're confusing a couple of things. The X10 has ball diffs. Ball diff are lubricated by grease, most electric car manufacturers have some kind of diff grease (or diff lube) that is specifically meant to be used with ball diffs. Cars that have GEAR diffs (1/8 buggies for instance) use silicone oil to keep the diffs lubricated. These oils indeed come in various densities (thus the "weight"thing). Re. tires, they should be chosen according to the type of surface you are going to drive the car on, IE Dirt, Grass, Asphalt etc. Tell us what you will be running on so can recommend the appropriate tires.

Use black associated grease on the thrust and clear associated on the balls, rings

I wil be running on dirt and grass most likely. Also my diffs are nto built and i am starting on my rear arms (actually am almost done) But i installed my driveshaft adn everything but when i did it my knuckle seemed to lean really bad to the back of the car.... any tips or why this might be happening?
