the running of the roll bar is for both on road and off-road. But wether you use it depends upon personal preference, as well as a fine tuning tool.
Basically, the roll bar keeps whatever end of the car it is mounted on flatter in the turns, and reduces the grip slightly of the end it is attached to.

Maybe you forgot to use the rear axle spacer between the hub and bearing? If you don't use that, there would be about 3mm of slopwhich would allow the axle to slide in and out.

In the pics you posted it looks like the X-Hub or wheel adapter is on backwards! The side that has the tapered raised portion needs to go inside the rim not against the hub bearing. I could be wrong because in the pics the light from the photo makes it hard to tell, but that is how it looks like you have it now. You will be able to tell when you put the rim on because when you tighten the nut it will not tighten all the way down so the nuts face is flush with the end of the axle. when it is correct the tapered part of the adapter sits into the rims inset to allow the rim to sit further onto the adapter. This shouldn't have anything to do with your pin problem, just something I noticed!

Yeah I believe Wailinonya is right, It's hard to tell from the first photo, but in the second photo it's just about visible. however I hope the quality of your photo's gets better by the time you post again, just look how many members missed that detail. anyway flat side goes to wards the upright. hope this solves your prob M8. thank Wailingonya. I vote him "spotter" of the month.
