Yeah it's great that the new season is upon us... I have a 2wd mid west regional this sunday at Coventry and then it's to kiddy the week after for the 1st nat, it's not going to be it's first run out door, but hopefully its not long before mine gets its first run on grass, i think the week after kiddy mine gets its first run on the natural green stuff! Everybody all prepped and things ready to go? I've had my old man locked in the garage gettin mine prepared, the pred's been all re-built, not that it really needed it, he likes working on the cars bless him!

Mechanic Cooper at your service Northy, I've just rebuild my B4 in one day, it's not that much work. Only shocks and bearings take some time. I just had my first National (belgian/dutch chamionship) and I was in C final, had some bad luck in the finals (blown up speedo) so I ended last place in C users.pandora.be/231st/BNK126032006/ pic's here No 4wd at our nationals and lot's of pred-haters saying it's porcelain..... (yeah I was wearing my the-pred.co.uk T-shirt) next national is at an astroturf track, I'm going for top3 in the C final.

Took mine all apart to clean, and that's how it was left! Some upgrades were planned though (Losi shocks), and some parts have come today that I needed. How many race at your Nationals Coop?

To which statement? We can not use brushless at Nationals, only at Regionals, and my first meeting with the X10 will be Kidderminster National so the Q2 has to go back in. We have our first 2wd Regional this weekend and I took the B4 apart a couple of weeks ago to clean, just need to put it back together. May also stick the GTB in it while I'm at it, just got a Novak 5.5 motor today. ;D G

Sorry Northy I was asking about the brushless. That's odd having to change over the electronics between national & regionals. A bit counter productive if you get my meaning, correct me if I'm wrong but aren't the regionals & nationals run under the same governing body (BRCA)? If this is so than isn't it a case the right arm not knowing what the left is doing? Hang on the BRCA is, as history will back me up on this, always a year or so behind the times? by my reckoning it will be legal to use brushless systems in your cars by 2007, am I right Northy? I'm running a 5.5 in the x10 for a while now & I love it, all the power you'll need and it's silly fast down the straight. you'll love it to bits.

Yeah, Nationals are run to full BRCA rules, but the Regions have a bit more choice what they do. They could run to the same rules as Nationals, but thankfully our region has seen sense and allowed brushless, so I am willing to give it a try! ;D

Not releveant but feel free to moderate, Have just modified the shocks on my b4 by adding the vcs2 caps bladders and foams from the touring car, makes the action smoother and the oil filling more precise, and is cheaper than new shocks,

Coop, We have 63 entered for our Regional this weekend, and I expect more to actually be there on the day! Our National series is full with 120 drivers at each round I think, and a full list of reserves. I'd love to finish in the C at my first National this year.
