There are one or two sets that are modules (for stick transmitters) and receivers only. I haven't seen one for the KO syastem as yet

As spectrum is an American company and in America they tend to use wheel radios the only ones available at the moment are for wheel radios. The only 'stick’ one available is for the futaba transmitters as they use the same size moduals in there stick and wheel radios

yep, Mark Redmond at Southport uses a Spektrum equipped KO Vantage.
He had the radio converted in the states, as it is a hardwired conversion for the KO stick radio. Once it's installed, it's staying there.
SO, far he has had no problems with it that i am aware of.

The espirit can be converted to spectrum use, however this involes removal of the tx aerial. this is done in the uk by Helger who distribute KO and spectrum in the uk. the conversion can be done through any modelshop in the uk who stock losi, ko etc. However i would recommend using dms racing who have a good relationship with the the distributer. All the uk team drivers have had the conversion done, Darren Bloomfield - the only driver to beat Neil Cragg last season, showed me his a couple of weeks ago. The only issue is that without the aerial the handset feels unbalanced. I use the sanwa super exzes, which uses a module but you still need to put the aerial up when racing as it does not feel right. As a word of advice though, 2.4ghz is a very heavily used frequency in the uk and near bulit up areas the potential for interferance/signal blocking is still there, a large proportion of the uk population have mobile phone handsets and many of these leave bluetooth on permanent transmit, at a race meeting with 130 plus dirvers all using spectrum, results being transmitted by wi lan, and a fair few phones, i believe this could quickly become entertaining - time will tell
