Congratulations on your purchase. I have not installed the electrics in mine yet, but the rest of the build is finally done. Take your time and expect to take alot of it. This build took me atleast twice what any other build has taken me.
I have driven one before though, and I think it will be worth the hard work to be able to run my own.
Rcdave.

If you have any questions, just ask. I've run a Pred for... well, I can't remember how many years it is! ;D Also check out the build tips thread. Oh, and welcome! G

Cheers Lads. I couldn't really afford to buy the X10 (that reminds me, must hide the receipt from the girlfriend :-) ) but as a designer and engineer myself I just had to help support the cause. Nice to see some British innovation coming to production.

PS I happen to own a small engineering workshop with CNC tools should that ever be handy for any creative ideas that we can come up with :-)

If you've got good ideas, let me know! No promises or anything, but it's worth a chat :-)

Alfonzo, how many axes is your CNC machine ?
I am pretty handy in CAD so if we could transfer it to your CNC machine with a CAM package that would be something very very cool for the future!
(I was busy on a front gearbox top but I stopped developping it because I don't think we could get out of cost because the french drivers never brake them and ttech also doesn't think there is a problem with them...)
if you're intrested I can send you some CAD files, I design in Solidworks 2004

It's a proper pain in the ass, that's what it is ;D
Although I can't complain when it's a nice still sunny morning and I'm floating along in a balloon on a 'Reseach and Development' outing..
But mostly, it's a pain in the ass!
