Are the holes that accept the 4 screws that secure the rear gear box cover to the chassis supposed to be threaded, or do you use the screws to 'form' the M3 threads? I'm having trouble getting my transmission assy to run really smooth, especially at the rear. Don't have anything to judge it by though.. Any tips or advice? d**n it - it's 1am - I gotta call it a day Al

As for the smooth run, In my trany I had to dremel the chassis down where the crown gear was rubbing on it ( I can't remember if it was the front or the back) but it did fix it. And in my Front gearbox top I had to use the screw to make treads ( but I did use a tap to make like two threads to give it a nice start). Hope this helps you!
