that looks like a nornal X10, but it has some sort of cooling device fitted to the motor. Perhaps the cooling device is this "TCS" system we have been guessing about!

TCS not heard of that, if it a cooling system were do I get one from can only be good for power

IF i am right, and it is a BIG IF, then you can't get them yet, as they have not been released yet, announced yet or possibly not even invented yet!
It is pure speculation on my part based upon the location of the device and the tube going towards the different style motor mounting disc, not to mention the "radiator" style heatsink, and there appears to be another part to the system on the periphery of the chassis too.
I soooooooooooo hope that i am not wrong about this!
Where did you find the pictures?

What would you fill it with?
Water makes sense but with only one tube how does the fluid circulate? Going back in time for me but the principles of thermodynamics don't support this working

Here is where the photos are stored: www.wideformat.co.uk/daves_picsThe question is: Who is Dave? TCS ... could it mean Thermal Control System?! That'd be friggin cool! There are passive liquid cooling (H2O + Additive(s)) for PC's these days ... I suppose it would be possible to fit something to a motor that does the same, just smaller ... I wonder if it would be possible to use the magnetic field produced by the armature to 'drag' an impeller around to provide a pump-like circulation... hmmmmm 'nuff said, MX4

There is something right next to the motor. like maybe what someone said a mag-pump or some kind of sickening aparatis.

The black block that the aluminum block is sitting on looks like one of those, I'm not sure what they are called, but they use them for cooling electric motors, like the Much More motor cooler, or the Crazy motor freezer, to me. Usually on higher quality coolers they are covered up with glue or plastic or something, but I saw an advert for a cheap homemade one and the part that actually generated the cold looked like little stacked pieces of metal with 2 wires comming out of it. In the second picture you can see that the black thing might be stacked pieces of metal attached together. Perhaps there are wires comming out of the other side of it...
There appears to only be one tube though, how can there be an out and no in?

... stacked pieces of metal with 2 wires comming out of it... Are you thinking about a ' peltier cooler'? Could it be a peltier cooler formed/machined into the motor mount cam?! ... I'm leaning towards 'no' on that one simply because it looks to be a full-on liquid cooling setup...but you never know. Another important question is, "Is this an official TTech project or some home brew thing?" 'nuff said, MX4 PS -- I don't recall, but I wonder if 'the rules' (IFMAR/BRCA/ROAR...) state anything about a 'non-air cooling' systems for electric motors...
