Thinking of buying a brushless motor speedo combo for my X10.
What are people using?
thanks.
(if already asked sorry for the inconvience)
Since I am posting, anybody else besides me keep breaking rear wing mounts? Is there a fix other than buying the 2 tubes as supports, that I already use.
Thanks

Thanks Wow, dude. You guys must have some big jumps for those wing mounts to break? ;D As for BL, im not currently upto date with the current ones but judging from other members on this forum (Northy,Chris) they are running Novak systems, i could be wrong but i think Northy is using the LRP speedo with the novak motor, for good reason i suspect.

I'n still using the full GTB system, but I think the LRP Shere would fit easier to be honest. I plan on getting one for next year if we can use tham at Nationals.

cool thanks for brushless info.
As for breaking the rear wing mounts, It wasn't such a big jump as the angle of the jump. I was getting anywhere from 6 to 12 feet of air off the jump. The jump was designed to be run the other way, but I was bored and decided to try it the wrong way. Worked so great the first time that I tried it 6 or 7 times. Should not have done it the last time, as the car landed square on the rear wing instead of the wheels, and snapped both wing mounts at once.
I also broke one, when I hit a bump wrong and sent the car into a forward front tumbling roll. Just wondering if anybody breaks them. I do not run the car on flat tracks, mainly bumpy tracks with table tops, and lots of holes and rythm (spell?) sections.

try changing the profile that the esc is running.
i was dissappointed with my gtb 6.5, (in terms of speed) and changing the profile worked wonders. It also cleared the glitching and stuttering that i was experiencing too.

It was open class so I was up against everything. Line starts (all start at once) and I made it to the first corner 8 foot before anyone else! G
