@ MattW: could you give some more information about how you 'tuned' your shafts? @ other people with to much power: try to find an old steel diff and old BUD shafts, maybe these work better in the rear. but I don't know 100% sure if the old steel diff halves fit the X10..... (northy, chris, ..?) I can't see why the steel diff diff halves, wouldn't fit in the X10. The design on those hasn't actually changed if i remember correctly.

The outdrives of the steel diff halves are shorter than the ali ones so you would need the driveshafts too.
Also you would need to mill a 'flat' on the steel diff halves for the diff ring to key to, as they used to use a notch.
However, I have mot had a single problem since using the new pins in the rear driveshafts.

Contact Ian at TTech and he will sort you out with some. They are a running change so the new driveshafts come with them. But TTech should send you new pins to fit in your old driveshafts.

cooper, what do you mean about what i've done??
I just got some needle roller pins. I had got some, and then TTech sent me some as well. I used theirs, glued them into the shaft and left it like that. I did them just before the BEGP, and they've been fine so far.

ow so you can just knock out the original pins and replace them with new pins or 'needle rollers' <--- I need to google that 'cause I don't know what it look like...

Yeah you've got it. Old ones out, new ones in. I actually rebuilt a driveshaft for a guy at the GP this year.
Needle Rollers as we see them are basically rock hard pins. They are actually the rollers that are used in a one way roller bearing.
