I think Mr North has done this before, but yesterday I decided for no other reason other than an experiment to run the pushrods mounted UNDER the rockers.
The suspension became much softer and seemed much smoother throughout the range of movement. I also (obviously) had much more droop. And do you know something? The cars handling seemed transformed. It went over the bumps at Southport as though they were not there, and having run G's Southport setup on my Pred, which was pretty damned good, with the pushrods mounted underneath the rockers the car was awesome.... does anybody with any suspension knowledge know why this would be?
I think it may be because there is so much more droop on the front now, so maybe having the revised rocker arms may do the same?

is old! ;D I use them from months, and northy he has same system with the new ones crank why it is that they change the angles of incidence, the push road works better making little effort

I hope is understood?

joe runs at all the nationals with it next race is tiverton f3's. he had it pretty consistant at holbeach missing some top end power but handling ok, he had 4 runs all around 12 laps with a 12 -16 sec split, qualified d3. i suppose were lookimg for fine tuning really, can't quite get the balance between the front and rear, set up is 50wt rear and 35 front black springs all round kit standard pistons any suggestions?

Was Joe in heat one? I was marshalling that race and there was an X10 going very well in it. When you say you can't get the balance, in what way? G

balance is probably the wrong word, it seems that the rear is too hard and does not ride the bumps tending to just flip the rear into the air, whereas the front seems too soft and bottoms out, we got the back right at holbeach and the front almost right, by moving the pushrods underneath we have a lot more droop but to get the ride height back there will be a lot of spacers required, don't get me wrong the car is getting better and is very good on the set up we have i am just looking for something to get a little faster lap times. joe was in heat 3 his times were all 12 laps on a 12,16,17,16 sec split so consistancy is there his best laps were between 24.41 and 25.15, checking your times you were 12 on a 2,7,3,4 split with best laps of 24.61 to 24.75, he isn't far away from you on lap times so it really is fine tuning i am looking for.
