Hey

I am still waiting for my Spur Gear to come from Xtreme R/C, had to order it through them because T.Tech said that they didnt have any in stock untill next week so they told me to contact them to get one if it was urgent. T.Tech are still sending me a free one though which is nice.

I also got the upgraded chassis, the spring kit, some spare shocks, and the ceramic bearings. Does anyone know if the ceramic bear kits are an upgrade for the X10 i couldnt really work it out if they were or not, if not oh well i have some spares.

Still have to completely rebuilt it pretty much now to fit the new chassis and Spur Gear.

One thing i have noticed is, the front shocks sag quite a lot with all the electrics placed inside the chassis, is this normal? it must sag at least 1cm or more, i am using 30 weight shock oil on the front, i'm not too sure if i have the right springs on tho as both were black and looked exactly the same, both feel different although i have a feeling it may be more down to the fact that i probaly messed up installing the shock oil. Anyone how much should the car sag up front with all the electrics and batteries installed? the acceleration will probaly be enough to lift the car up coming out of corners but i dont know.

the ceramic bearings are an upgrade for the X10, and they are fantatsic - it really should have them as standard, if nothing else to distinguish it more from the XRS.

The suspension will sag when weight is put in the car, but i think a quick check of your shock building will be beneficial. Just take them off, remove the spring and compress the piston. They should come out of the shock body by about half way, just by the pressure of the oil.

And as for your spur gear - you should have asked....shop-online! ;D

Your not going to beleive this, but i actually have a SPUR GEAR!!!

I can finally rebuild my car with the new ceramics and chassis woooo. unfortunetly no time todo it in though, wont get round to it untill next week now.
