Hi Guys, i am new round here but wondered if you can help me, my local model shop wont stock anymore X10 stuff as allegidly T.tech are having problems and model shops are now ment to pay their invoices to a frim of solictors rather than T.tech/centrepoint? Can anyone confirm this? if this is the case I will be selling my unbuilt X10 as spares on ebay (to keep you guys running) and by myself a ZX5! please help.

Where have you heard this information from, and is it bona fide? I have been trying to get to the bottom of the rumours, but without success. I have however received a general e:mail (as I am sure you all have) saying that Richard is out of the office 'til the 27th October, due to a product launch in the states I think it was. The e:mail was signed off Richard weatherley, AIT Ltd.....

as i understand it,AIT are a firm that centrepoint ttech operate with.I believe as soon as an invoice is sent to to a model shop, this firm immediately pays ttech a large amount of the balance-meaning they gain instant funding and do not have to wait for the shop to pay.TTech receive the rest from the firm once the shop has paid, minus a commission.Usually firms operate in such a way when they do not have a massive amount of financial security. I know this is how centrepoint used to operate so i assume this latest rumour is just regarding that, which is not anything to worry about people!

yes it was genuine, my local shop owner had the letter, telling him to pay the solictors for his shelf stock X10 and not centrepoint. I cancelled my X10 several months ago but bought one on ebay this week unbuilt so will need spares. I might just buy a second kit to keep me going or just sell mine as spares on the bay - its a nightmare. I am waiting for a reply from Richard sent 10/10 and voicemail left 11/10 - I have been waiting 8 weeks for a replacement Vega ESC and no sign of that either.

Oh yes, they have operated in this way for a while.A modelshop has never paid directly to centrepoint as far as i can remember.....
I suppose on the other hand AIT could just be another company name to use for legal/financial reasons.
Either way, the X10 appears to be undergoing constant development and the customer service direct with them is top class.I always buy direct instead of through a shop. Its a better service and you can talk to the people directly about the car!

Hello i work in a modelshop in Swansea called Fastlaneshop, i spoke to centrepoint yesterday and ordered some parts and was told that the only part's that we would'nt receive were part's that were out of stock and part's that are being remade as they were not happy with the quality of them. As far as kit's we have one on the shelf and have another 3 on order but i was told that we would not have them sent out to us until the 30th or 31st october as they are waiting for some updated part's to arrive to go into the new kit's, such as the carbon steering link and a better shock Oring's.
Hope this help's

I know there are a few email addresses you can use and some get responses quicker than others.I have never had a switchboard yet!I usually ring the number on the X10 card you got wih the kit.Never had a problem yet.As stated somewhere else, you usually speak to someone called rae and she seems thoroughly excellent in the service she provides.Parts arrive faster than for any other car i know at this time,i.e. next day or day after at absolute latest.

On the web the order hot line is 01634 826115. I have just placed an order via the web and am a little worried that it will not get picked up. Let us know how you get on with the above number and i will call to confirm order. If you get stuck for wheels i can send you a set Chris

Just tried both numbers the 111 is on answerphone until 14/11 (I left a message last week and haven't had a call back yet) and the 115 is a dead line. Q. why would a firm use factoring companies? A. To assist with cash flow. Fine. ...So why would the factoring companies be using lawyers to make sure they get their money? I have seen the letter today and whatever RW says in LA it does not inspire confidence. All I want to do is order some parts on the phone (rather than the web) is that too much to ask

Shall i explain as i understand, this is opinion based on facts that i am aware of and am able to verify, AIT is the trading company, this is i believe due to the fact that prevouis companies trading in the names currently associated with the predator are now defunct companies which can be verified with company house, one example of which is tenth technology, companies can trade under names - ttech for example but the parent company must be registered. as you may not be aware richard has had mixed fortune with past business ventures and may have needed to set up a new company to trade under in order to finance the project, this new company uses the name ttech as a brand as an alternative to a company name, this should mean that in the future the packaging would not need to change on the products, if you see pred spares on ebay you will notice that the packaging can be differant for the same product. every time i phone the call is taken, it may run onto the anwersphone but richard will normally pick up while i am leaving a message. i ordered spares on the phone on friday using the number on the owners card and they arived saturday morning. what is all the fuss about?
