To be honest I don't tend to change the set up that much but I'll see what I can do. Not to continue the off-topic direction this thread has taken, but I noticed that the setups listed on the 'setup page' that TTech sent with the X10 do not differ much. The primary tuning point seems to be the oil weight ... and they don't really speak of tire selection anywhere. Oh ya, then the whole toe-in measurement thing ...certainly an odd way to measure it ... at least for us yanks! I hope to give the X10 a real workout on a grassroots American track next summer (clay, bumpy, big jumps, 180's, sweepers ... the works) Too bad summer seems so far off now ... we got about 12 inches of snow over the past two days so outdoor racing is officially done for this year 'nuff said, MX4

I love snow! ;D The rear roll bar has me confused at the moment, seems to work in the opposite direction. I increased the length of the arm (moved pivot towards front) and it seemed to give the rear more grip! It just seemed to make the rear end "dead", can't explain it any other way. No roll, just too stiff. To be perfectly honest all I normally change is the weight of oil. I always used to run the copper springs (soffter) on the rear to absorbe bumps better, I think you can make the rear too hard. G

I think the reason for the change in oil weight are the different rockers, forces are different because of other size etc, (some basic mechanics)

i dont run an anti-roll bar on the back at all...the back end is still planted to the floor....
I do find the suspension very soft though, although it does seem to work!

Agree about the suspension being soft have tried increasing the weights and prefer the feel but for outdoor would definately recommend thicker oil for the front as it pancakes on landing

My o my, so much has changed since the time i went offline and did a little moving from the UK.. How is the new Pred X-10 fellas? tell me what im missing? ;D Im here in Asia doing a little touring, looking and wondering from different places enjoying the scenery ;D and boy "IS IT HOT HERE"!!!!!!! But im loving it.. Going back on topic, so to speak. I think the deletion of the other stuff was a little hard and a little late now to moan about it but i guess its done for the best of the site... I hope to be in touch more frequently as i have now access to broadband where im staying. Yipeeee ;D

Yipeeee ;D good to hear from you again.....i knew that the deletion of all the other stuff would not suit everyone, but as you may remember, as was not "comfortable" with it being there in the first instance, and the website is called www.the-pred.co.uk! I don't really want it to cater for all other cars, as there is always the racechat "reich" for that! (so eloquently phrased, I thought, when i read that one!) Sorry it doesn't suit everyone, but it suits the predator well. My X10 is proving to be a bit of a handful, very quick, easy to drive aggressively, but very unforgiving...still think it's a great car though ;D

Erm I know I'm new hear but some of the suggestions already mentioned sound awesome, the t-tech timeline + some kind of history and members rides sounds fantastic. A chat room would be cool but don't know if that would be possible. Tips and conversions would be good to cause I keep hearing about a TC3 gear conversion but never seem to be able to find out any info on it, so any kind of conversion's like that would be cool. Brilliant websit and forum though so keep up the good work. And somebody mentioned tamiyaclub which I'm also a member of which is a good site but to be fair you do have to pay a subscription fee if you want to be able to put pics on, post trades ect. Thanks.

I've got TC3 gears in my P8, but to be honest if I was you I'd fit X10 transmission if you wanted to upgrade, much less effort.
PS, any more pictures of your car? It looks familiar.....
