As we have people posting on here from all over the country, what do people (who live in these areas only please) think the chances are of me getting from North Yorkshire (near York) up to Drumnadrochit (near Inverness) tomorrow? What are the roads like "up North" at the moment? On the news they say they'll be several inches of snow tonight!

I think John Reid is the guy to ask for that, as he lives in Scotland.

I think John Reid is the guy to ask for that, as he lives in Scotland. STAY AT HOME..... they will eat you alive that far noth. If you have to go to Inverness or InverShneky as we call it the take an armoured Range Rover. The weather isnt to bad, it all depends on how hopeless the rest of the drivers are. I am on an oil rig just now and we dont have any snow. Lesley (wife/boss) says there is snow at home that has frozen over hard but the roads are still passible unles you are a muppet that cant drive.
