Here is a link to the thread with a piccie of the cells in my car... thepred.proboards38.com/index.cgi?board=speedcontrollers&action=display&thread=1124723910Those cells were used in both my BK2 and my X10. They have since been changed so that they will fit into my Novak Smart Tray, so the +ve connection is on the side nearest the steering link. I don't see why you should be having any trouble fitting them inot your B4, as long as you have the connectors on battery bars (if you are using corallys)

The B4 battery brace is pretty wide, so it's already 'hard' to find a good place to put the corally's, when I adapted my packs for the B4 they didn't fit the pred anymore.
if i place them like northy the corally on the servo side rubs the steering link. if I do it like chriss, wires are to long (alot of weight ) and the corally rubs the chassis

if I do it like chriss, wires are to long (alot of weight ) and the corally rubs the chassis There is not that much weight in the wires! I understand that weight is a problem with these things, and that longer wires can be a pain in the ass, but come on! My son uses my cells in his B4, running the wires off a Novak Cyclone esc (big & bulky), and he "only" runs a 19T "spec" motor. He is regularly in the top 5 qualifiers in the club, most of them running much newer, much smaller and lighter equipment, so to my mind, the weight in the wires is a non-issue. Crashing Less is much more of an issue to my mind! I dont have any clearance issues with the corallys mounted on battery bars with the B4, as far as I can remember....they certainly fit OK in the BK2

My cells fit in both the Pred and B4. I can take a picture tonight if you want.
IMHO its better to have the +ve near the motor to keep the wires shorter, not for weight but for resistance.
Cheers
