well, a slow response but here goes....
the XRS is basically a "plastic" version of the X10, and it appear to have GRP in place of the carbon fibre too. Also I think the rockers are plastic and not alloy, the diff balls are not ceramic and it does not have a one-way fitted. It is full time 4wd.
Apart from those things, it is identical!

If you can't afford or don't want to fork out the full amount for the x10 it looks to be well worth, just get yourself a spring tuning kit as well.
Try model images for good service if you are uk based, there details are on the pred site.

Could I get some thoughts on the new XRS from someone who has purchased or seen one. I am considering purchasing one and a host of spares, as being from Australia I want to make sure I am covered for any common breakages. I have never owned a Predator before and I was hoping someone could recommend the best spares and tuning items I should get. Also, does the XRS look like a competitive and reliable buggy or is the extra $$$ justified on the X10. Any replies would be appreciated.

there is already a topic about spares for the X10, check that. as an extra item for the XRS I would get aluminium rockers.
EDIT: I've made a -spares post- in the X10 topic

Hey Cooper stole my pics ;D No Problem.
I ordered the alu steering parts and rockers. Because the plastic rockers without the bearings won't run smooth for long as they get dirty
