Has anyone ever actually found any that will take the circlip out of the bottom of the seal housing? Cheers, G I've got one of these: KD Tools Universal Convertible Retaining Ring Pliers - Small [sears.com] Which I got at Sears ... dunno if you guys have Sears in the UK, but thought I'd chime in. Sears is a department store that often has loads of tools as well as clothes. This is a really nice tool too. They don't say it on the page above, but it has 6 or 8 different sized tips AND it is reversible, which means it works for inside or outside snap-rings (circlips). 'nuff said, MX4

I found that "Blue Point" makes the simplest & most durable tools, so that's what I use. the One I use is the smaller of the 2 I have it's reversible (it can open & close c-clips) It also has interchangeable tips so you can fit the right diameter tip into the eyelets.
