Starting setup: Front: Yellow springs, pushrods in rearward (stiffer) hole in GP (carbon-fibre) rockers. 35 wt oil, 2 groove 1 hole pistons (may need to fill a hole in with Araldite or similar to make these!). Wishbones level. Wheels parallel, ~2 mm neg camber. Rear: Purple springs with 'P' springs, middle hole in rocker. 40 wt oil, 2 groove 2 hole pistons. Wishbones level. 2-3 mm toe-in depending how pointy you like your car, ~1 mm neg camber. For very bumpy tracks I fitted anti-roll bars both ends (home-made 18 gauge front, 16 gauge (heavier) rear) and went to light green (= copper) springs and 'P's rear, forward rocker hole on the front. For high-grip you could try forward hole, green/copper springs front; and top (stiffest) rocker hole, with purples and 'P's rear. Obviously, if the balance these give isn't right for you then go up or down a spring or mounting hole at one end, or change the rear toe-in. Losi XX-4 rear wing mounts are a good plan if you don't already have them, and I ran a 4 or 5 mm gurney on the front wing although no undertray (tends to break too easily with the undertray fitted). Gearing for English tracks was about wind+10 to wind+12, so start a 12 turn motor on a 22T pinion. Holes in crownwheels: the larger hole takes a central bearing, the smaller one spigots directly onto the diff half. I'm not aware of any noticeable difference; just run whichever you've got. Good luck! thx jonny
