Well, here's my Southport Set-up. Everyone who saw my car going round said it look great and really stable, just what I thought!
I started off with this basic set-up for practice and all I changed for qually was more negative camber all round as the grip came up.
Front:
Springs: 6.5t Pistons: Hard + Valve Oil: 35 Associated Toe: Parrallel Camber: 2 Degrees Castor: Max - right back Ground clearance: 16mm Anti Roll Bar: None Front upright to upper wishbone - std spacer
Rear:
Springs: 6.0t/Gold Pistons: Soft Oil weights: 50wt Associated Toe-in per side: 2 Degrees Camber per side: 2 Degrees Ground clearance: 22mm Anti-roll bar: None Rear lower upright: Lower Hole Damper pickup point: Middle
Tyres: Schumacher Yellow Mini Spikes
Motor - Orion V2 10x2 Cells - IB 4200's LRP Quantum 2 Front brake balance - 3 x O rings Pinion - 20 Spur - 72
Chris, give it a try next time your there. I think I told you the wrong oil in the rear when you asked me! Sorry.

i have tried your setup, and modified it to the following, which suited me a little better:
40wt oil in the front 45 wt oil in the rear
and i have harder springs on too - will report back when I find out what springs i have used!
I found the setup to be very "flattering" making the car easy to drive fast, best setup i have found for southport to date, so i think i will adopt it!
