Do i sense another delay on the horizon? Why when i sure he has everyones email address does Richard not give us more info? Will the car actually be released or wil it only be available as an expensive collectors item on ebay? Is Richard about to go bust again?!

Delays are part of the design process, however failure to inform deposit paid customers is just bad customer service. If i did this to my customers i would quickly not have any customers, if there are problems be honest and tell people what they are. i placed my order in good faith and the expected date has gone back and back. have i been told why? No! Do i have any idea of when the car will arive? No! I have sent one last email to richard no doubt i will get no response or just a vague reponse about unexpected delays, then i will cancel my order and get a xxx4 along with the other 4wd drivers at my local club

All very reasonable mate Have received an email from richard and have been told similar info to previous occasions, additional delays and confirmation the car is not ready now and will not be ready next week, what i expected not what i wanted to hear. Want to keep the faith and love the design. But, i have now missed to many 4wd regionals, and even bought a b4 to do some off road racing, what i have to decide is do i enjoy racing more than sitting at home for another warm summer afternoon.

Darren Bloomfield, awesome 4wd losi team driver runs at my local indoor club, and drives in the same regionals as myself (he won th4wd indoor champs this year). Although he normally ftq's and i struggle to make c finals. his dad sets his cars up and shares setup info with anyone that asks and to see his car and the others from the club running you can see that there is no issue with the xxx4 g+ on a uk track. 90% is about the driver from what i can tell. So i am guaranteed advice and good parts support, the other four that i pit with at the 2wd regionals also run xxx4. So what do i do??

If you want the convenient elements that you have mentioned then yeah ill go with that. Me personally ive always been a sucker for cars that have odds stacked against them, ive not changed then nor have i any desire to be different now If there were still a supply of parts for the Lazer ill carry on racing that. Even a so called mark pavidis built and raced one only a few weeks ago and still made it in the "B" final in some race meeting so go figure Since the schuey is the underdog, i would pick that to race, but thats just me.. I like to be a little different from everybody else is doing ;D

Just one other thing.... If you decide to go for the XXX4 and get to like it will that mean you wont get the x10?. If you do get the losi, make sure you dont like it too much so that you can jump ship to the pred (when it comes out) ;D . Better yet get the schuey then make the jump, another good reason to get the schuey?...Yeah makes sense..Go schuey m8

I hear what your saying but..... Used to have a mission, enough to make me not want another schumacher. Would i jump ship to the pred? I think my wife might make a new thread starting, 'New husband required, would prefer one that doesn't spend all his money on toy cars...... ;D

LOL.... If it were only me and my missus, she would prolly have that on her mind but as our 3 year old boy loves the rc cars, she has no say or choice in the matter. hehe....
With regards the mission chasis i think its safe to say thats a little different to an offroad buggy not to mention the difference in the layout... Schuey buggies have never been in question when it comes to handling as for the build they're one if not, the strongest out there. I got much better and more consistant after going to a schuey just for the reasons ive mentioned. I could never get a good result or more to the point get consistant enough with the losi xx4 because they were just a weak car.. Ok prolly i should have been more careful but i cant drive like that, i like to drive flat out pushing the car all the time. From what i been hearing the xxx4 has the same problem... My principle is, you cant progress if you have a car thats prone to breakages... If you have a car that will stay in one piece after crashes then thats a big help... You got to remember we're not your Doughty's nor your Craggs, They have'nt got to worry about crashes, well? , simply because their too good.. I hope you can make sense of that? ;D
