Since this thread got off the first page, it has died...so here is my attempt to revive it. This is not the best photo, but it is the best I could do with what I have. The photo does not capture half of the subtleties of the paint. I put a carbon fib(er|re) pattern on the uppermost part of the lid. The flames are 6 color with a 'copper metailic halo' and the front and rear wings are Alclad chrome ;D and it only took me about a week to finish Let me know what you think of my beasty... Nice paint work there looks great, where did u get the chrome paint from?, most of the so called chrome paint I've tried as been more like aluminium. I need to get me a couple of X10 shells to paint to stick on mine as they look flinkin awesome. Al :-)

The Alclad homepage is www.alclad2.com/alclad-home.htmlThe item number is ALC-5114 'CHROME FOR LEXAN AEROSOL 3OZ' ... They also sell a small bottle of this 'chrome for lexan' intended for airbrushing, but I just used the spay can since I wasn't too keen on the mess of airbrushing laquers. There is also a good bit of info here: rctech.net/articles/painting_hauntedmyst4.shtml#sub01 regarding chrome paint for lexan. 'nuff said, MX4
