Oooppps, forgot to say that I use B4 servo mounts in my Preds. It moves the servo more towards the centre of the car, and gives more room for the ball joint on the end of the steering link.
I also open up the hole in the chassis that the steering link goes through.

No the bit with the ball joint on one end (connected to the servo) is metal, the bit between the allow steering arms is carbon.

What did you use for the ball joint on the servo end of the steering rod I only have a standard ball joint, but the one on your car looks much wider where the steering rod is fixed in.

it's an old TTech ball joint thing, I think it's from the touring cars

Yeah, forgot about that. Its off the TTech touring car. I've used it because the servo is closer to the centre of the chassis.
