Is anyone else struggling for high speed steering with the X10? It doesn't seem to have as much as the P8

I cant say that I am struggling from a lack of high speed steering...mine seems fairly consistent throughout the corner, especially now I have reverted back to the kit settings for the shocks.
I did have an issue with a lack of high speed steering though when I ran front tyres with too many spikes cut off the edges.
I don't run a rear anti-roll bar though, if thats any help.

No rear roll bar should give you more rear grip and less steering! Your running on grass though aren't you? I'm sure it would be fine on grass, but its not indoors.

I would try a adding front caster if that is possible. I nicked the following quote from the RC Handbook hosted by Associated. Is it possible to add caster on the X10 with the stock parts? I'm thinking it would take a whole new front knuckle and/or tweaked pivot ball holders. Any thoughts on this? 'nuff said, MX4 Note: this is basically a repost of what I said here.

I also think Chris's post hits a good point. Northy, maybe you just need a bit more front grip?

I want (need) a shed load more front end grip to drive the car how I like it. If I can't turn into a corner, realise I've turned in too early, turn out a bit, and turn back in and still make the apex then its no good for me. So as you see, I like lots of steering and my P8 has it. I added more washers under the outer end of the top front wishbones and this did help, but not enough. Any suggestions would be great, as there is not that much more I can adjust. I do have some ideas in the pipeline though....

I would look at the rockers, this is the biggest change compared to the P8 and I carefully conclude this is the part that causes the steering to be less than on a P8

Coop, I think that is one of the things that is different. The single hole on the ali rockers is the same as (or nearly) the back hole on the carbon rockers. We're going out on the beers tonight, so I'm planning on having a look tomorrow. There are also some other differences. Waiting for an email back from Richard about it.

The hole on the ali rockers is it between the two old holes and a little further back. The rear part of the steering arms is also longer, and the link between them (now carbon) is longer.

why dont you try the P8 rockers etc on the X10 to see if it cures the problem?
I am sure if you need to you could transfer the whole gearbox top or just the rocker setup to see...

it must be one of those 2
I rather think it will be stering links, because they have a direct effect on the steering, rockers only alter the stiffness/forces

Exactly what I'm going to do. I might get chance to run it at the weekend. Still no reply from Richard Also got another more extreme idea in the pipe line!
