Thanks for that Tom, did you remove the shock limiters out of the front shocks?? Or is that with them in??

To be honest Chris, so far I haven't taken the car over a big jump, the jumps at kidderminster are just little bunny hop 1's and there was no problem with that. Bare in mind, the pred will be a lot heavier than a BK2 and therefore is more likely to bottom off big jumps, the weight is more central than in a 2wd car because the motor is further forward and so the chassis has more chance of hitting the floor when dropping from height. Just keep an eye on your shock's oil levels, mine felt much more stable when they were refilled after the 2nd round. If needed go to thicker oils to give more pack, but we found at both kidderminster and Tiverton the 35wt/50wt setting was best.

I don't think there were any limiters in the shocks no, however I shall have to check with dad when he gets home!

Thanks, that would be really helpful....
I found mine, with taking fairly big jumps doesn't bottom out, i tried 45wt in the rear and 55wt but 50wt seems the optimum!! I changed the servo mounting posts to alloy ones aswell because the originals tend to flex under full load!!

Tom... I best thought I would clear this up, when I said limiters I meant the shock rebound valves, that are placed in the front as std? Cheers P

The car was pretty dialled to be honest, another thing I noticed was that it was actually pretty kind on tyres as well, many were going "a set per run" but i actually ran new tyres for round 3, and was improving still further by round 4 on the same set. I also ran these for the final and despite only lasting around 6 laps, the car was still handling well, despite a tad of understeer creeping in but they were getting quite bald by now. If i could go back and change anything, I'd have gone there with a metal steering link on! Mind you, theres a nice looking stainless steel one on there now.... cheers Mr W! Tom
