I think I will purchase the new steering link as well, and a new chassis. Mines too modded to retrofit the stainless link.
I will more than likely wat though to see if my link is unreliable in the interim period though.

errr Northy how do you mean "ordered it" ,I've just been to the T.Tech site & I've not seen it there for sale, just that "in a few days" notice. Highly annoying that. any news on the other stuff thats supposed to come out soon(better o-ring for the shocks is one item I can remember)?

Just ring the spares hotline, don't bother with the web site. Talk to Gavin or Ian, they know whats what.
O rings weren't ready but I don't want them anyway as I've fitted silicon ones in mine. Don't know about the other bits.

I got the steel link this past week, but I haven't had a chance to drive the car yet. I'll be driving it on my usual tight indoor track this sunday, hopefully without breakage issues.
