Has anyone got the new motor mount disk?
If so can you tell me how wide the grove is and if its exactly in the middle?

can't you modify your old one ? some dremeling, reduce the clamping area so there is more pressure on small area--> more friction

My freind is going to do mine and his on the lathe, we just wanted it to be the same as the new one, that's why I'd like someone to measure it  |

have got one will try to measur gap when get home after work
off the top of my head though it runs centrally around the disk using one third of the width of the disk to an aproximate depth of 0.5 - 0.75 mm

sorry have got the flu, haven't eaten in three days without the food making a guest appearance an hour later  having now measured it the groove runs centrally around the disk at a width of 2mm as i described earlier ;D ;D depth is .5mm as i said could you get my spare one machined as well |
