Years ago on an older XK5, I had removed the wong mounts and replaced them with a TECNACRAFT quick release wing mounts. I was going to do the same with the X10, but I can't find the TECNACRAFT wing mounts anywhere. Has anyone else had an issue with these? I have gone through a few packs so far.

Are you breaking the standard ttech wing mounts? If so, have you put one or two braces between them as I suggest in the build tips thread in the X10 section? Since I did this (on my old Pred) I have not broken one.

i have braced my wing mounts, and can vouch for the effectiveness of the mod, as I have landed on the wing mounts a few times from the jumps, and not broken them.....I might be able to put my hands on a blue anodised brace that is perfect for the job if you need one.

I used the red TTR wing mount braces, they are neat, but you have to drill the hole a bit bigger. I will post tonight some photos

Darren - I also used the wing mount braces off my 1/8 scale buggy. Looks factory and stiffens up the stock mounts.

The wing mounts from Losi XXX-4 will work good. They are flexible and strong.

They're too flexable though, and I used to snap them!
