Whoa. I just saw on the TTech website that they will have a contigency program. That is really cool.
Will North American racers be able to participate in the TTech contigency also or maybe it will be offered by DTCRC or Advantage?
Keep up the good work TTech.

Hmm, I wonder what this means for those of us in the USA that race under ROAR rules. I know 'cash' is not an acceptable award for a ROAR race victory ... but I don't know if that also covers contingency plans ... Guess I'll have to look it up.

The contingency put "cash" into an account, to enable the racer to buy spares, so it could be argued that they are winning spares, not cash.

The TTech contigency would be more of a reward than an award. My company is heavily involved in the ATV racing community around the world and as far as I know contigencies do not affect amateur status. At two of my local RC tracks, we get "race bucks" depending on the place we finish in our class. The TTech contigency would be similiar to this I believe, since X10 drivers would only be receiving store credit from TTech.
I want to know if we in North America are able to participate in this program.

Hi papawheelie
We are in talks with TTech America at this time about where you will be claiming your credit.
