Any good tips on how to free up seized bearings? Raced last night in stupid conditions, car absolutely plastered in mud etc, track was just a mud pit. Bit silly in hindsight, ah well. I dried the car with a hairdrier as soon as I got back in an attempt to stop the bearings from rusting, but either it didn't work or the bearings are full of gunk 'cause the pred is pretty locked solid this morning. Arse.

take them all out
remove shields
spray them out with WD40
put them into a bowl with petrol (super 2007 ;D)
if you have something that vibrates (lol) an aquarium pump or somthing else (ahum) put the bowl on it.
let it in for at least 24h and check regulary if there comes alot of dirt out, maybe refresh the petrol.
take them out, blast everything out with brake cleaner, lubricate them try to spin them.
also check if they are not ready to trow away, if there has become alot of play on them, just buy new ones.

Cheers Coop, sounds convincing. And Cheers Darren, makes sense. I'll have to get my wallet out. Again.
