:)I've seen a Predator advertised on e-ay which has Schumacher battery posts fitted (albeit the tops? are missing) is this a common conversion and if so which model of Schumacher are they refering to as I find the stock clips to be very fiddly.

the most commonly used schumacher battery posts are the plastic straps that were used on the cat 3000 and the schumacher t/c's including sst, axis, axis pro etc. They are very good, but in a shunt, or even off a big jump, your cells can come loose, as the battery straps sometimes come undone, especially when they are not new, and have lost their original strength due to the plastic stretching.
they are still available to buy online via the racing-cars.com web address, and i would have thought, your LHS.
I have not used them simce the P8, as the X10 battery straps are just the job - if you find the little body clips fiddly, cut down some of those long body pins that are used on the touring cars, so you only have two to mess with and not four!
