Yeah i have. I put it on the side of the chassis, as close to the servo as i dared - and hence as far away from reciever as poss. It seemed ok. I know Si Reeves actually stuck his to a battery strap. That wasn't a bad idea.

Because I only have one PT for several cars, I make a lead with Deans polarized plugs, and change the PT from one car to another. In the X10, I use 3M velcro on the top of the cabin. It has never come off.

I velcro it to the celling of the body, I switch it between cars as well.

I have one mounted between the back of the motor and the battery pack up close to the side of the chssis. No probs with it so far. It is mounted flat on the chassis and not sideways. They don't transmit that well sideways. I tried that once and the signal was to low to be picked up by the system. I was told that the signal from a PT is sent so that it is stongest in the laydown position and does not work as well or at all on it's side or standing position.

:)I'm with Darren & bigboss on this one, velcroed on the inside of the roof of the body. You just need to remember not to yank your shell off in case you pull the wires out of the receiver plug, touch wood I havn't done it so far.
