Just got a virtually new LRP Quantum 2 at the right price, but can't make my mind up which is the best way to fit it and the wires.
Has anyone else got one of these in a Pred? Pictures available?

there is a possibility you can put it between the motor and battery's
I once planned to buy an SX9 and it would have fit, but then I had the chance to buy a Gt7 for a very good price and this one didn't fit between motor and battery

Hear a picture of my Nosram dominator evolution (the same thing, but red ;D)  I did have a look at trying to install it in between the cells and motor, but it looked a bit too tight, and it ment I wouldn't have been able to get the fan in. |

Dan,
Couple of questions. Why do you have the +ve and -ve connections on your cells that way round? Wouldn't it be better if the +ve terminal was nearest the motor?
How have you fastened your fan in?

A1. Its just down to the way the cells were already built up, they were saddle packs from my Xray T1FK so all I did to them was put the bent battery bars on to clear the shaft/steering link in the pred. A2. the fan is a much more 30x30mm fan, its held in place with a piece of servo tape on the underside. It does wobble back and forth a bit (due to the flex in the tape) but its fixed 100% secure in the chassis, its been over the jumps at Batley quite a few times (and flipped and cart wheeled rather unceremoniously a few times  ) and its held strong so far. With a bit of luck I should be able to get down to York next month so you can have a closer look |
