Remembered this one after reading Jimmy's review.
Keep them greased, I used to know someone who greased them every run, but thats up to you.
The pins will wear, but that's to stop the expensive parts wearing.

The Tamiya A/W grease works wonders for this. 23 packs and almost no wear! I am thinking about trying the IRS pin cushions - I will let you know how it works

Tamiya A/W is "Anti-Wear" like Coop said. I will try to locate a part number for you. IRS pin cushins, I think they are discontinued, go to www.teamirsrc.com - basically, you take out the drive pin (using a speacial tool - a hammer) and insert a smaller diameter pin with a "cushion" around it. I will post photos as soon as I can. Here is an ebay link I just found cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6024769038&category=34063I will let you know if I can get it to work!

I believe he's trying to make them fit instead of the pin in the axle side of the drive shaft not the diff side. In that case he'll have to drill the hole in the axle and the bone to fit the IRS pin&tube which are bigger in diameter I think.

I have managed to punch the pin out, and the IRS pin and cushion are a tight fit, but I think I can get it to work with a hammer and a drill bit...will post images when I can
