Hi all, i have just come to my car and the front diff is now clicking (about 10 times a revolution) It is something binding somewhere. I have just stripped and cleaned + regreased the diff and it is still doing it? Are there any parts that wear that may cause this?

It is doing this with the diff removed from the car in my hand. Imagine it is like a clock and at each individual time, there is a severe stiff point. Hope this helps  |

have a close look at your diff rings - i think you may find one has a crack in it  |

If this problems still here after a perfect cleaning of the diff.....  ? Examine your diff plates to see if there's not a scratch on them or.... Ditto for the thrust race |
