:)As your probably aware I'm new to Predators with an XRS so please don't slate me if this has already been said. Whilst building up the kit I experienced great difficulty in mounting the servo with sufficient room for the only servo savers, Kimborough medium's, that my LHS had. Whilst I'm sure the better drivers don't need or run with them, and those that do use a slimmer one, I hit upon a solution that gives far better clearance allowing the use of this size servo saver or larger if need be. I've mounted the servo on Tamiya servo mounts fitted the same way round as suggested in the kit they place the servo nearer the centre of the chassis giving loads of clearance.

I dont use servo savers on the X10, or on any of the other predators that I have raced because the steering rod seems to offer enough protection for the servo.
I also found that by using trickbits ball cups and studs on the servo end, in the event of a crash with the potential to kill the sero, the ball cup simply pops off the stud! thats more about the quality of the ball studs I guess ;D
the other (expensive) way round the problem is to get a Futaba S9550 (i think) digital servo. They are much slimmer than a normal servo so you can mount it much closer to the centreline of the chassis. I run one in my X10, and actually mount my Q2 servo on the back of it, in between the propshaft and the servo.
How did you find the build of the XRS's?
