Alfonzo told me about this great website, I too race at Lawford Buggy Club with Duncs & Rich (traitor!). If anyone has seen the Pred picture on our website mine is the all black one.
It's an XRS but I intend to upgrade all the important bits to X10 spec by the start of next season. Why isn't there an XRS section, are they that bad?!!
The car went beautifully first time out last weekend, but I did break a couple of bits (spur gear lost a couple of teeth & a rear wing mount broke).
I've seen enough to know I'm gonna persist with this car, brilliant!

HI BEN, Great that you like your XRS with regard to the wing there is aBRACE that can be purchased that greatly improves the rigidity of it, also easy to make one yourself if cash is tight. With regard to the gear stipping there are other people on here that can advise the way to install your motor there is A way to doing it either TOM or CHRIS may post here for you or start a thread. The other alternative is to phone IAN at TTECH and he can advise you he is very knowledgeable. GOOG RACING, MARTIN.

Hi and welcome! First of all, there isn't an XRS forum, as I never thought of doing one! I will integrate the XRS with the X10 bit, as all the setups/build tips etc will be pretty much the same. Anyway, a good tip to remove the broken wing mount issue is either the brace as previously mentioned, but the wing mounts still break, it's just they don't break as quickly with the brace fitted, or to change the T.Tech wing mounts for Losi Items. If I recall correctly, all losi wing mounts for the current off roaders are the same, so they will all fir the X10! The good thing about Losi wing mounts is they bend instead of breaking! As for mounting your motor correctly, all you need to do is ensure you put the motor and motor disc in the clamp dead straight, (sometimes it loks straight but it isn't) and mesh it up correctly, ensuring it is still fitted correctly. Then, tighten up the clamping screw as tight as you can, and then do it a little more. I have heard squeeks from the screw whilst tightening, and my favourite was getting sparks out of it when I undid it ;D (although I have only ever achieved that once!) If you do that, your motor should not move at all! By the way, stick your pictures of your X10 in our gallery!
