:oHi All, I have a ROBTRONICS OVERLANDER and am wondering about using the 4STEP method. Just what some general advice nothing to technical. I did try it but the cells 3700s got very hot. May look at aSPINTEC ICC next year depending on cash. Thanks all. MARTIN

not much use this answer, but i have not got a clue!
I have used the multi phase charge on the pro-trak, which is similar to the robitronics, and i did not notice much difference other than mid-race punch being more evident than previous, but my cells got hot too, so i stopped using it, choosing cell life over cell performance!

I use a Novak Millenium Mk1, and it also gets the cells pretty d**n warm (hot) when charged. Initially I was worried, but lots of people seem to get the same thing with a variety of different chargers. Maybe these new 3800 - 4200 cells have this trait? Or maybe me and my mates all have the wrong types of chargers.. ;D
