Hello everyone I'm new to this site, stumbled on it by accident whilst looking for forums for the predator. I've just been brought by my lovely girlfriend bless her a XK98 mitcham. I've wanted a predator for ages and have finally got one in mint condition. Just wondering if anyone on here can tell me anything about this particular model?, has anybody else on here got one?. And I know this may sound a little stupid but.. how do you put pics on here of you car?. Great site by the way. Thanks,
Al

Hi and welcome to the site!
I used to race one, and am now in the process of building one up to sell.
What do you want to know? Are you going to race it?

Well firstly what are they like to run, I've not had chance to give it a blitz yet even though I'm dying to because for 1 its for christmas and secondly I need a saddle pack battery cause I normally run tamiya's but have fancied a t-tech for sometime. Do the X10 bits fit? if so any chance of getting a carbon chassis for it?. Where along the line does the XK98 Mitcham fit I think it was the P5 first wasn't it and obviously the Awesome looking X10 last. Ooh and how did u get a pic at the bottom of your posts and at the side of the posts. Sorry for all the question's just a bit excited

They are a very good car, the X10 is just an evolution.
Most if not all X10 parts will fit, but you might have to buy some other X10 parts to make the one fit you are trying to fit if that makes sense! I don't think there is a carbon chassis option, you wouldn't need it anyway as the standard one is stiff enough.
I think the order is: XT, 95 Pro, International, XK5, XK98, Mitcham, ETQ, P8, X10.

Yeah that makes perfect sense. Awww but I love carbon (sorry have a carbon fibre addiction). Whats the difference between the XK98 and the XK98 mitcham do you know?, or is it just an evolution like the rest?, didn't know if they were any major differences. Will the X10 bodyshell fit the XK98?. And please tell me how you get the pics on here like yours . Thanks and sorry if I'm being a pain.

I think the chassis are uctually carbon filled plastic, will that do ya? ;D
I think there was very little difference, possiblly just the springs and rollbars etc that he raced it with. No major differences.
Yes the X10 body will fit.
Upload you icture to somewhere on the internet (I use photobucket.com) and then paste the link under the picture in the gallery into the box for Avatar in your profile for <--- that one, and into your signature for that one. l l V

And nooo it doesn't help sob sobI love the look of carbon, I even brought a carbon fibre pen.(sad I know). So is it just T-Techs you own or do you have any other RC cars out of curiousity?, I've got a tamiya avante and a slightly modified topforce. Thanks for all the help by the way.

Oh you asked me if I was going to race it, not sure as of yet seems like a good idea but not sure if I'm technical minded enough after seeing people post stuff about shimming ect. Don't really know much about the set pu of motors ect. But think I may have a go and try my look at some point.
