best bet is to go to your local club to see what tyres they are running....as for motor, they are usually limited only by your equipment (ie speedo cant take a too low wind), your cells (wont las the duration of the race cos your motors too fast for them) or your wallet.
The other limiting factor of course is your ability. No point having the fastest car between two crashes.
If you have never raced before, or indeed driven one of these cars before, I really cannot recommend that you start your racing career with a predator. not even a really nice looking mitcham edition one.

That I guess would make sense, as when connecting it up to a battery and a 15 double to check the tranny before runnin it properly it sounded scary enough. Maybe I'll have to start with my modded topforce and take it from there especially with me having a load of spares for that and new ones becoming available soon. Try and get the hang of that first on a track instead of the old backyard bashin. Quick wuestion chris, how do I get my car in the members cars section without having to go through outlook? as mine never works properly have you got an e-mail address I can send some pics too from hotmail?. Cheers,
Al

rides@the-pred.co.uk should do the trick if you want to send pictures in (you may have noticed that I have included the pictures that you sent a week or so ago, but more will be cool)
as for racing the topforce - definately the best idea in my opinion....give it a while befor you get the pred on a track! ;D
