directions are here www.bury-metro-rcc.currantbun.com/Map.htmI think pre-booking is the way forward on this as I reckon it's going to be a busy day if our easter egg meeting at Southport was anything to go by! ;D

By the way, if this is the 2 day regional you are talking about, what is the booking in procedure?
I will be there for the NW Regional in a few weeks time also.

Hi Tim,
I'll be starting with Toms Kiddy set-up as the track is very similar.
Tires, Yellow mini spike in the dry, not new as there is massive grip! Wet, green minispikes.
Motor will depend on lay out, could be fast and flowing or tight.
Are you doing 2wd also?
Fancy pitting with me and Jim? We'll keep you right!

What a naff day I had...... got there late (9:45!) and then didn't get a practice in either. Round Onegot absolutely mullered on the straight just before the jump. Broke the gearbox top, ripped the pushrod balljoint, pulled the steering link off the servo and pulled both of the trackrods from the rear hubs. all in one crash. Did just over one lap! the only funny thing to come out of it was watching the marshall trying to fix the ball joint back onto the pushrod. He said that he thought the steering was not working properly. I said that it really didn't matter. Round Twomuch better, car was handling OK, but was a little slow. Finished 5th or 6th. Round Threemotor died on the straight. Didn't do one lap! Round Fourplenty of horsepower, car was flying and was pretty much on the money. Came round the bank corner and the that I had just overtaken XXX-4 kindly shunted me over the banked corner and broke my rear wishbone where the hub joins. now, I am not saying it was intentional, but he made no attempt to drive round me.... then the rain came, and I went home! I had every intention of finding your northy, but with all the latenesss and re-builds, I am sorry, but i just did not have the time!

Never even saw you Chris! Or Tim, don't hink he was there? I didn't have a very good day though, I blew my GTB up in the first round and was on the back foot for the rest of the day. The car was very good, just one of those days! 2wd was worse though, broke it in 1st and 2nd rounds

Raced the X10 at Mid West regional at Kiddy yesterday. Had a good days racing at a track i don't particually like. Good 1st and 4th round and poor 2nd and 3rd rounds. Used schumacher green mini-spikes for the 1st round and the 4th round and did better lap times than the other 2 rounds on ballistic green mini-pins. Didn't break anything till the final where i glanced one of the back section walls and broke the front upright. Had bigger hits during the day and did not break a thing.
3 X10's made the 'A' Final
Looked like the X10's that were racing there were more reliable than the XX4's which were breaking front wishbones. Did see 1 XX4 chassis snap and the front end of a ZX5 Destroyed.
Any one got a set-up for an X10 and B4 for Tiverton National next weekend.
