w3rD! I got in early. Don't have a number per-se ... but as soon as I heard about it, Chazz had an email. Should be an interesting buggy.
'nuff said, MX4

it may go like a scalded rabbit and be the very best 2wd car ever.....but with a bodyshell that looks like that?
I think they nicked it from a radio shack buggy. ;D

There's going to be a new shell, that is areodynamicly designed first, looks second, but it will be better than the prototype.

Anyone remember the Fab 2000 the Fabbix conversion for the Schumacher Cougar 2000? That also used a contra rotated gearbox and so did the Tekin conversion for the RC10 ? You must remember Graham? Corner entry speed is high but were there not handling issues At least it makes a change from the establishment hurrah, the X-6 must handle well, I wouldn't mind one but I'll wait for a TTech I'd love to see a top driver do well here with the X-6, when was the last national win for a non Losi or Associated car? Did the Fireblade ever win? I know the Cougar 2000 won a round in 1994?! It's time for a change and something different hurrah for Hodapp and co.

Yeah I remember those two! Never got chance to try one though.
At the offer price I think its a bargain.
If TTech ever do release a 2wd I'll run it, but until then I want something different as 2wd bores me! ;D

Very nice, never really fancied a 2wd though and if I did I think I'd probably be a bit sad and buy a Tamiya super astute, cause I have a bit of a soft spot for topforces and that was basicly the 2wd version of the evo.

i know this is slightly off topic, but does anybody know what the highest placed X5 was at the national in kiddy?
I am keen to see how these perform in the nationals, as everyone who drives one seems to think it's the very best handling car ever. guess they have never driven a pred.
On another note, i haven't heard anybody complain about the cost of the new yoke either, coming in as they do about £30 more than an X10 if i remember correctly!

Agree with every word chris, For an unbiased view of the x5 ask Chris Long on Doughty........ I have a friend who is getting the new yoke as my local store will not stock the pred, but consider the yoke good value? , coupled with the sniping comments i get everytime it breaks frankly i wish i lived furthur north.

sniping comments? About a pred? Surely not!
I have to put up with those too, but I have found the best form of defence on the subject of preds breaking is attack! ;D Usually, I go out for a practice or a race saying, "oh I'll be back in two minutes" or "which bit shall I break today!"
Funny though, last time out, my pred was the only 4wd not to break more than once, and when it did break it was because I drove it into a brick wall.
Nobody laughs at a pred when their car is in pieces.
